Meet Pumpkin Spice! Isn’t she a cutie? Pumpkin Spice is ready to go trick-or-treating this coming Halloween! She loves all the candy treats but what she loves most is baking and eating pumpkin pie!
I’m so proud of this amigurumi and am very thrilled to finally release the pattern!

I just adore her little rustic broomstick and her pumpkin/jack-o-lantern companion.
Pumpkin’s pattern is suitable for crocheters with beginner to intermediate skills. The pattern is filled with plenty of photos (over 90 images!!!) for references and assistance. You will need to know how to make a magic ring, crochet in spirals, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, single crochet increase and decrease, and basic sewing technique to sew the pieces together. You’ll also need to know how to surface single crochet. Don’t know how? No problem. I show you how to do it with step by step photos in the pattern.
I used a 4mm hook and 8 ply acrylic yarn to crochet Pumpkin Spice and the finished doll measured about 46cm (18 inches) from top of hat to bottom of boots.
You will need:
- 4mm crochet hook
- 8ply Acrylic Yarn in Beige, Light Green, Orange, Black, Yellow – at least 130m (140yds) each
- Small amount of Dark Brown yarn (for the broomstick)
- Small amount of Grey or Taupe yarn (for the broom’s bristles)
- Small amount of Pink yarn (for the blush)
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Polyester toy stuffing
- 2x 14mm plastic safety eyes
- 2x Pipe cleaner/craft wire
- Sticky Black felt
- Stitch marker
- Hot glue gun
- Pins (optional)
