I’m so excited to finally have the pattern available for this sloth! Isn’t he cute! Meet Mo. Slow Mo. He loves to have everything in slow motion, well he is a sloth after all! He does dream of becoming a race car driver one day, but for now, he’s happy to relax and sleep (a lot) in his favourite tree.
His pattern is now available to purchase from Etsy, Craftsy, Amigurumipatterns.net and LoveCrochet.
This pattern has a beginner/easy skill level. You will need to know how to make a magic ring/circle, crochet in spirals, chain, crochet around a foundation chain, single crochet, half double crochet, slip stitch, single crochet increase and invisible decrease. You will also need to know very basic sewing technique, in this case whipstitching to sew all the parts together.
I used a 3.5mm hook and 8 ply acrylic yarn to make Slow Mo and he measured about 26cm (10.5 inches) tall or 18cm (7 inches) seated.
Look at his hair! You can style it sideways, slicked back or parted. Makes him look very cute!
To make Slow Mo, you will need:
- 3.5mm crochet hook
- 8 ply Acrylic yarn in Beige at least 75g (202m/220yds)
- 8 ply Acrylic yarn in Cream at least 15g (40m/44yds)
- 8 ply Acrylic yarn in Dark Brown at least 10g (27m/29yds)
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Polyester toy stuffing
- 2x 12mm plastic safety eyes
- Sewing pins
- Stitch markers
Pattern is now available at Etsy, Craftsy, Amigurumipatterns.net and LoveCrochet. I hope you have fun crocheting Slow Mo! I would love to see a picture of him – post a picture on Instagram and use #helloyellowyarn (or you can tag me @maryjcarlos) or post on my Facebook page.
Happy crocheting!

Hii! I recently purchased your Slo Mo the Sloth pattern from Amigurumipatterns.net and was almost done making him (I have to make the two legs and then I’m done!). However, their website seems to be shut down so I no longer have access to the pattern & I did pay for it. Is the anyway I could maybe get the PDF sent to me or just the pattern for the legs? I would be so thankful for the help!!
Thank you,
Marissa
