Introducing Roy the Rhino! The new addition to my safari animal collection. This little Rhino is so proud and couldn’t wait to show off his shiny new crown to the safari kingdom!
It’s been a few years since I made a safari animal and I’m glad to finally add a new one to the collection. Roy’s pattern is now available to download from Etsy, LoveCrochet and Amigurumipatterns.net.

When I told my daughter I was making a rhino, she said to me that unicorns do exist, they’re just chubbier with two horns. We call them Rhinos! 🙂

Roy’s pattern is suitable for beginners as it doesn’t use complex stitches. Theres’s also plenty of photo references to help you put him together. I am particularly proud of his little crown and his little ears!

Pattern is now available from Etsy, LoveCrochet and Amigurumipatterns.net. I hope you enjoy crocheting Roy and I would love to see a picture of your finished project. You can post a picture on Instagram and use #helloyellowyarn (or you can tag me @maryjcarlos) or post on my Facebook page.
Check out my other safari animals: Professor Elbert, Harvey Hippo and Graceful Gemma Giraffe.
Happy crocheting!
