Sweet Little Bunny – FREE Amigurumi Pattern

Easter is around the corner so here’s a quick and easy project for you – a cute sweet little bunny! I really love how simple and adorable the bunny turned out. Makes me smile everytime.

They really look sweet don’t they? Like marshmallows especially if you use pastel colours. But of course, one of the beautiful things about amigurumi is you can use any colours you like for your projects.

What are your traditions on Easter? Not too long ago during Easter Sunday, we would run an Easter Egg Hunt for my kids and their friends. The house would be filled with so many giggles and lots of chocolate and lolly wrappers all over the floor. They had so much fun! Perhaps too much sugar! The pandemic has unfortunately dampened that tradition. I don’t think my kids mind so much about missing out on the egg hunt. They might be getting older πŸ™‚

SWEET LITTLE BUNNY

You will need:
3.5mm crochet hook
8 ply (light worsted/DK) yarn – your choice of colour/s
Scissors
7mm safety eyes
Yarn needle
Toy stuffing
Black embroidery thread
Small amount of pink yarn
Stitch marker (optional)

Skill: Beginner

Pattern Notes:
– Pattern is written in US crochet terminology.
– *Bunny measures 13cm/5inch tall (from the tip of the ear to the bottom).
– You’ll need to know how to make a magic ring/circle.
– You will be crocheting in spirals.
– Invisible decrease technique was used for this pattern – if you’re not familiar with this decrease, a regular single crochet decrease is perfectly fine to do.
– Have fun crocheting!

*Use hook size 2.5mm or 3mm if you want to make a smaller bunny for a keychain/bag charm. You may need to use smaller safety eyes or you can embroider them instead.
