Meet Marley Bunny! An adorable little bunny just waiting for a cuddle.
Several people have asked me if I have the pattern for the bunnies I make and now I am so excited to finally have the pattern for this bunny available for download in my Etsy store.
This bunny is just 1 of the 2 versions of bunnies I usually crochet and I definitely plan to have the pattern for the other version available to download soon.
A few people have asked me for the pattern but I had put it off for a little while, I wanted to tweak my original design just a little bit to make sure it looks great.
The pattern is suitable for beginners and very easy to put together. A knowledge of magic ring/circle and whipstitch sewing is required. The pattern does involve changing yarn colours for the striped sweater – even if you don’t know how, the pattern has an easy to follow tutorial.
I used a 4.5mm hook and 8 ply yarn to crochet this bunny and the finished bunny measured about 33cm (13 inches) from top to bottom.
You will need:
- 4.5mm crochet hook
- 1 x 8 ply yarn ball in White
- 1 x 8 ply yarn ball in Pink
- 1 x 8 ply yarn ball in Light Brown
- 1 x 8 ply yarn ball in Purple
- Small amount of Pink cotton yarn/thread
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Polyester toy stuffing
- 2 x 12mm plastic safety eyes
- Stitch marker (optional)
- Pins (optional)
Pattern available at Etsy. I hope you enjoy crocheting this cute bunny. I certainly did!
