I’m so excited to introduce two new patterns from the Hello Yellow Yarn amigurumi family – meet Barney Whale and Nina Narwhal! Barney and Nina are the best of friends! They have so much fun in the deep-sea playing chase and hide and seek. I hope you like them! Their patterns are now available from Etsy, LoveCrochet and Amigurumipatterns.net.
Have you ever seen a whale? There are whale watching spots here in Sydney during our winter season, around June/July. I’ve never seen one and I really should make plans this year to go whale watching with my family. Now a narwhal, the unicorn of the sea – I’ve never seen (for a while I thought they were just mythical creatures). That would be really awesome to see one up close, but not too close 😛
This pattern is very easy and suitable for beginners. It doesn’t use complex stitches at all. It’s also quick to make as there are not a lot of parts to sew together. You can either make the whale, the narwhal or both.
The pattern is now available from Etsy, LoveCrochet and Amigurumipatterns.net. I would love to see a picture of your finished whale or narwhal – post a picture on Instagram and use #helloyellowyarn (or you can tag me @maryjcarlos) or post on my Facebook page.
Happy crocheting!
