Among Us Crewmates FREE Amigurumi Pattern

If you have kids, or teenagers or maybe you like playing video games, you may have heard of “Among Us”. It’s a video game where the aim is to find the impostor among the crew. Well, sounds easy enough but there are a number of crewmates in a ship and amongst the crewmates is an impostor or two. The crewmates must finish all tasks assigned to them before the impostor “eliminates” all the crew. When a body is reported, the crewmates gather for an emergency meeting where they discuss the situation. This is where the fun begins! Everyone becomes suspicious of each other, you have to claim your innocence or get booted off the ship. Sometimes an impostor gets caught, sometimes they get away with it and sometimes even the completely innocent crewmate gets booted off the ship!

I must admit I was never keen on playing the game myself. My husband and I watched a few videos online of streamers playing the game and it was hilarious! One Friday evening we had a family game night and tried out the game. It was a fun and interesting night! Although I’m a little worried my kids are way too good at the game!

I thought the little crewmates looked cute bobbing and running around the ship so I wanted to crochet a little crewmate for my kids. I ended up making seven! At first I made crewmates based off the characters we used in the game including the hats we were wearing in game, then I made the dead body crewmates.

I posted some photos of the crewmates on my Instagram and a lot of you seem to really like them. I’ve received a few requests for the pattern, and ta-da! I have finally finished the pattern and the video tutorial! Thanks for your patience!

The pattern is beginner friendly as it uses very simple stitches. You’ll need to know basic sewing techniques however.
